My folks will most probably put their stuff up and start playing carols on the first of December. I'll be there in time to take the stuff down though (so depressing).
It'll never last until Christmas, unless it's fake. Why, oh why would you have a fake tree? *sniff* And you used to display such promise at killing plant life!*sniff*
Well, not so much killing plant life per se, and not so much killing per se. A fuzzy memory of days of yore and communist empires did lead me to believe that implicitly there would be some killing involved (old people, Bill Gates and the like). After all, no great empire was ever built without a little bloodshed, and tree resin is certainly a good substitute. It's also handy in that it's perfectly legal, certainly smells better, and it's not as messy (one must always remember not to forget Lady McBeth's lessons). But of course this could be just a figment of my imagination, remembering things that never actually happened.

Yay!!! Awesome Christmas tree! :D
I'd love to help my family put up our tree but I think it'll be up by the time I make it back. :P
thankee!
I think this is the earliest we've ever had it up, ever!
(frankly, though, the tree only looks good cause i was messing around with the digicam)
Mum's playing carols at home now and I'm sitting in the library at uni wearing a Santa hat! (Pictures to come later. :D )

Keith: My mum wanted the tree put up early, but I refuse to hear carols this early. :D
Chris: But the tree is fun!
Kermit - what plant killing prowess do you refer to, oh most confusing one?
